Spring Field Day

 

Sunday, April 27 is our final Home & School event for the year.  We hope to make it a wonderful, fun day for all.  We have lots of fun activities planned for the day.  A potluck dinner will be served.  Please bring plenty of picnic foods—sandwiches, baked beans, potato salad, etc.  Home and school will provide the drink, chips, dessert, and paper items.  Be sure to come and support our kids on this last event.  If you would like to help out on this day please call the school office at 325-3184 as soon as possible, we need volunteers.

 

 

 

 

The book fair was a big hit in my classroom.  This was a great fundraiser for our school to participate in.  There were so many great books for students, parents, and teachers to choose from.  Thank you to all who donated books to our classroom!  The 3rd and 4th graders are excited about having over a dozen new books in our class library.

According to the 1st and 2nd grade class the book fair was, “fun, exciting, super-duper, let’s do t again!”  It was a great opportunity to help get the students excited about books and reading.  We were blessed to have many books donated to the classrooms.  First and second alone had 16 books donated.  Thanks to all the volunteers who gave their time to help out with the fair and especially to Rhonda Cllifford.

We are sending registration packets for the 2008—2009 school year home today with your child.  Please be sure to look in backpacks for these packets.  We encourage you to complete all forms and return them to the school office as soon as possible.  The teachers will have their supply list available for you at Spring Field Day.  If you have any questions please contact the school office at 325-3184.
